ALBURY TUILIP SCARF IN SILVER, APRICOT AND WHITE

This elegant tulip bud pattern repeats across a square shaped canvas. The curved buds are large, showy and brightly coloured with crisp lines of definite structure. The name “tulip” is thought to be derived from a Persian word for turban, which it may have been thought to resemble. Tulips were frequently depicted in paintings of the Dutch Golden Age, and have become associated with the Netherlands.
